Refund Policy

Refund for Propane in Bulk Tanks - Discontinued Service

  • Arrick's Propane will calculate refunds based on the current price per gallon of propane for that customer at the time the tank is picked up. Arrick's Propane is essentially buying back the remaining propane in the tank at its current retail value.

  • There will be a 30% restocking fee for propane in the tank when it is picked up. The restocking fee helps cover the labor and fuel involved in delivering the propane initially and picking up the tank.

  • If the tank (size 250 gallon and larger) has more than 5% when picked up from a customer's location, Arrick's Propane will charge a "Pump Out Fee" in addition to the restocking fee to cover the labor of pumping out the propane. The "Pump Out Fee" amount is currently $75 plus tax but is subject to change without revising the Refund Policy.

Refund for Propane in 100# Cylinders - Discontinued Service

  • There will be NO refund for a cylinder that has been partially used

  • If the cylinder is still Full when it is picked up, then there will be a 30% restocking fee based on the current price of a 100# cylinder, and the remaining money will be refunded to the customer.

Refund for Fuel Assistance Money back to the State

  • Managing and operating the state Fuel Assistance programs is very time consuming. If the customer buys propane with this money, then we are compensated for the efforts. However, if this money needs refunded back to the state for whatever reason we must charge a FA Refund Fee (Fuel Assistance Refund Fee).

  • Fuel Assistance money remaining on the account will be charged a $50.00 "FA Refund Fee" before refunding the balance back to the state. If the credit balance is less than $50.00 then the FA Refund Fee will be matched to the balance to zero out the account.
