Propane has minimal emissions (EPA Clean Air Act) and therefore cuts your home’s carbon emissions nearly in half as compared to an electric water heater.
Homeowner Rebate

to replace an Electric/Natural Gas Water Heater with Propane OR to install a new Propane Water Heater
$150
to replace an existing Propane Water Heater with a new Propane Water Heater
*Appliances purchased before January 1, 2024, are not eligible for the rebate program
*This rebate program is exclusively available to residents of Ohio, and applications received from individuals residing outside of Ohio will not be eligible for the rebate.
